We are pleased to announce that recruitment for the SlowMo trial is now complete! Since we started two years ago, 362 people have taken part. This is a huge achievement, which makes SlowMo currently the world’s largest psychological therapy trial for people who fear harm from others.

We are very grateful to everyone who has given their time and energy to take part – the trial would not be possible without them.  We would also like to say a big thank you to all the clinical teams who have supported the trial. We have already had lots of positive feedback and learned a great deal about delivering SlowMo therapy.

Our main results are due out next year, which will tell us both if SlowMo therapy is helpful and how it works. Ultimately the SlowMo trial will help us understand how to use digital technology in psychological therapy to improve the lives of people who fear harm from others.
